Father God, we come to you as humble as we can, thanking you for your grace and mercy. Asking you Dear Lord, to forgive us of our sins and thank you for the trials and tribulations, that you have carried us thus far. I come to thank you, for watching over us and our families each day of our lives. You have been good to us. For you brought us a mighty long way. From the young adults’ years of life, through the jungles of Vietnam. We are so very thankful.
We had some of us who did not make it back in one piece. We pray for them because they were a part of us. That’s why we set the table for our fallen comrades in remembrances. Because we share the power of Unity and Love of togetherness. For, “United we Stand and Divided We Fall.”
We pray for health and strength. Today over the years we all collectively have something in common: we check in each day at the VA, we have medical problems, and take medications to continue to stay alive. Even though we have some sleepless nights, some dreams that we want to forget. The remembrances of PTSD, and Agent-Orange that just won’t let go…We continue to be grateful; we continue to stand for our Flag. For the rising and setting of the sun. We still have God on our side. I continue to pray for all our Brothers and Sisters who are under the sound of my voice and reading this now. I pray for the ones that are sick and suffering from the elements of life circumstances. I pray for all our Health and Strength. I pray for all of us who have served our country together, and the Brotherhood we share for eternity. May the Love we share to this day live on and the remembrance for those who are not with us this day.
We love you Lord; We ask that you continue to watch over us. Continue to watch over us that we may continue to grow daily in your name we pray…AMEN.
